Trying out WW 2021!
Monday, January 4, 2021
So from the tittle you can tell this is a post about WW (Weight Watchers ) after years of hearing about the program. I decide to finally giving it a try, one big reason being that they have now an app version that has different reasonable price that fit me and my needs.
With everything going on in the world I was looking for a program that was easier and not too restrictive because honestly who has time for that. My goal with Joining WW is to have a better track of what I am eating. I found myself these last couple of months treating myself a little to much. Anyone else ?
So far with weight watchers I have been assigned as the green category, they have different programs you can be assigned to and they give you a certain amount of points tailored to what you. I have so far found it super easy to keep track of what I eat since most things are easy to scan or look up.

This app has it made it easy for me to try and keep a better eye on what I eat. My plan is to do WW with my Peloton workouts and see how I conquer 2021. Keep an eye out for my next post it will be an update of the WW journey and also a post on my Peloton. If you do WW I love to know some tips or tricks you might have.

*Big thank you to Myprotein's for sending there product to be reviewed on my blog all opinions are my own.
How many times have you bought a protein bar thinking this is going to be so good, only to find it to tasteless and dry. With my recent inspiration to get healthy I had been on a quest to find great tasting protein bars. but sadly that journey has come with a couple of regrets. So when I found out about Myprotein's New Layered Bar cookies N Cream bar I could not wait to test it out and actually see if it lived up to its slogan of a layered treat without a cheat.

*Big thank you to Myprotein's for sending there product to be reviewed on my blog all opinions are my own.
The protein bar is 20g protine and 4g sugar and 220 calories for one serving. According to the packaging it is a layers protein bar cookies and cream natural and artificial flavors.
When you first opening the bar its cover in white chocolate and as you cut into the middle it is divide in three layered. the white cream filling followed by the chocolate and the cookie.
(want to test them click here)
The one thing that stood out to me for the first bite is that there is no dry after taste which I hate from other protein bars. To my surprise this bar actually tasted like a candy bar more then a dry protein bar I think the layering helps them achieve the great taste and the crunch it has makes it taste like a cookie and cremes bar.
I can deffnitly see myself reaching for this as a treat before and after a workout but I can also see it as treat for snack or on those days you been crushing it. I recommended you guys deffnitly try it out if you are looking for a good protein bar that gives you protein and an actual treat with no cheating. You can check out Myprotein's New Layered Bar on there website on top of different flavors they carry.

Always Eat After 7 PM Goals Update
Monday, June 15, 2020
****This post is brought to you by our sponsor, “Always Eat After 7 PM”. The opinions expressed below are my own.
Hi everyone, this post is an update on Always Eat After 7 PM and the goals I
had set for myself when I first introduced the book to you guys. If you remember,
I wanted to feel more in shape because of my upcoming vacation and more than anything
wanting to see a change in my body since I been feeling not my healthiest. The challenge in the book Always Eat After 7 PM
has definitely helped especially with shelter in place still happening here in California.Always Eat After 7 PM
has made me listen to my body when it came to eating. Like I mention in my last
post that you can read here. I do not like eating breakfast at all, one of the
biggest take away I took from the book is that, “Going
without breakfast is part of intermittent fasting (IF), also called
time-restricted feeding (TRF). IF is a pattern of food consumption that cycles
between fasting and eating in specific time periods. There are various ways to
do it; one of the most common is the 16/8 protocol, which involves 16 hours of
fasting—typically done overnight—with an 8-hour window in which to eat each
day.” Since I was already starting the day later due to shelter in place
I found fasting easy to achieve and my body actually reacted positive.
A benefit I notice from fasting
was more energy to work out and not just that I found that I was losing weight
without giving up carbs, if you ask me it always a plus. One of the other things
I truly love about the book is the variation of recipes that are actually very tasty
and simple to make. There are also recipes I would never even thought I could
make or have when trying to lose weight and get in shape.
Like that ice cream up
above!
I definitely want to recommend
this book and challenge for all of you trying to get ready for summer or for anyone
trying to just be healthier. Always

One of the big reasons I choose Always Eat After 7PM to read and highlight on the blog was because
of my summer vacation I had planned to Mexico. Also because lately I been
feeling very sluggish and simply not at my best shape. Prior to coming across
to this book I had already had been committed to doing cardio and strength
workouts every day and that actually was going well and had no struggle keeping
that goal. However, when it comes to nutrition,
we’ll let us just say, that is a whole other story, and if I am being honest it
is where I always tend to fail.

I am the type of
person who is not hungry in the morning; ever since I was young, I just never
liked eating in the morning. As I grew
up and started working out felt like would interfere with my workout. However,
when the afternoon comes around hunger finally hits me and I want to eat
everything in sight. What I found from the book is that Always
Eat After 7 pm
is “a three-phase program that teaches you how to lose big by strategically
eating big when you are naturally hungriest—in the evening. This may sound too
good to be true, but let me assure you it is no gimmick. It’s all about making
strategic and smart food swaps, and you can still eat your favorite foods.” That’s why I found this book and
the program offers a great fit for me it is tailored to what my body is asking
for without a struggle. If you tend to get hungry in the afternoon I truly
challenge to pick up Always Eat After 7PM
I was lucky enough to be able to
interview Joel Marion writer of always Eat after 7PM and have him answer a couple of questions I
believe would be beneficial to everyone who is deciding to check out the book.
Me: First question I have for you is what inspired
you to write the book?
Joel Marion: After authoring 6 best selling books it was glaringly
obvious there were 2 huge misconceptions about dieting that needed to be
exposed. The first is that you can't eat late at night or before bed, which
science now shows is NOT true. And second, you can't eat large portions that
satisfy your natural instinct. This book solves both these problems by
providing an evidence-based, enjoyable approach to dieting that can be used by
any person to quickly achieve their weight loss goals.
Me: One of the main questions I been getting through my social
media accounts for you is. How difficult is the Always Eat After 7 PM plan to
follow?
Joel Marion: It's not. And that's exactly why I wrote the book.
While any diet is never truly easy, it can be more enjoyable and much easier to
adhere to when you understand how Always Eat After 7pm works because it caters
to our bodies natural instincts.
Me: What was the most surprising discovery when you were
researching scientific data for the diet?
Joel Marion: That almost everything my college education and
certifications taught me was NOT grounded in published scientific research.
Me: Okay last one is nice and simple if you had to describe
yourself in three words, what would they be?
Joel Marion: Born
To Impact
As I mention this book is truly a great read and the
challenge is even easier and in my opinion is truly helping me lose weight with
no struggle or complaint. I hope this mini interview with Joel Marion helps
answer any questions. Don’t forget Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary
Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent
Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion is now available to purchase
