Monday, January 31, 2022

Happy New Year!

I wanted to share with you Items my friends and I love, That we call Items "That Girl's" have.

If you don't know what That Girl means it's a TikTok reference but here is the definition according to the internet, "an easy way to level up your life — a snapshot of what it'd look like if you committed to a morning routine, ate healthy, and had a skin care routine."

Here are some items that make it easy to become That Girl, because who are we lying too we all at least have one of those down as our new year goals. I included like from high end(original) to affordable (Dupes) of the items I am mentioning.

* Affiliate links are used.

1.Arm Wrist Weights.

I think they are a must have! You can easily use them for easy quick walks, to an intense hikes, or if your doing 12-3-30. Its also handy to have around if your doing Pilates, dance cardio or starting out in your workout routine for 2022. I have be enjoying them for light workout classes on Peloton.

Dupes (Just as cute)

2.Initial Necklaces.

This is one "That Girl"  item I never thought I be into, but it has become an outfit staple. Initial necklace could be worn with any outfit and make you look put together. Even if you got out of your bed. The best part is you can personalize this to your personal style from minimal, funky, preppy. I been loving a gold one

 My Go To Initial Necklace

3. Athleisure sets

Sets in my opinion are a must have for everyone! They just make you look so well put together and on top of your stuff. You can get the original inspiration Set Active or find dupes on amazon. Here are some of my favorite:

Set Active ($10 Off $75)

Set Active Dupe *Still looking for the prefect dupe, but this one is close

4. Lip Masks

Anyone else addicted to them ? I use them all day and have become a big part of my skincare routine. These are my two must have, and I know "That Girls" have in  every TikTok Video.

LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask

 Summer Fridays Lip Butter

5.Water Bottles.

Hydration is key in "That Girl " aesthetic! One of the major reasons I am here for this trend. I have always been someone who loves to carry water bottles  around and thanks to the trend there are so many aesthetic affordable bottles out there right now.

Tracking Water Bottle

Simple Modern Water Bottle

Welcome Back!

Thursday, October 11, 2018

Hi everyone!

I know it’s been a hot minute since I have written in this blog! My last post was about me doing Poskmark. Yikes! I have already been doing that for 4 months.

What basically happened was during the summer,  July into August I got hired at a new job. That lead to me doing many interviews and testing, aka ruing around like a chicken without a head. When I finally settled down at my new job, a whole new mess started aka  doing my  job: Meeting parents learning the way things are done at the school and what expected of me. It was a little too much for me so I took a small break from blogging and Personally I just need to step back from Instagram and refined myself and my joy for it.

During the break from blogging and a day off from work we   decided to take a quick weekend trip to Las Vegas. We hit up the casinos, ate good food, gambled and then drove off on a 4-hour drive to the Grand Canyon, and let me just say it was amazing if you have ever been debating visiting  I say go for it!

So In a quick summary I been MIA because I started an entirely new job and I am still trying to find my footing, but now I feel like I'm more in the zone and can't wait To get back into writing on here.

Hope you enjoy a couple photos of my Vegas trip!

What I have learned so far.......

Friday, January 12, 2018

When I first started thinking about the idea of creating my own blog. I  had endless amount of  ideas and plans for what I wanted to do with it. As I reflect on the couple of blog post that I have done. I  have notice that  I have not been keeping up my promise of writing more, and giving this blog an actual chance to make it what I want to be and what it can be.

What I learned in these last month of writing is that blogging is not easy. I found myself running out of those amazing ideas which I had when I first thought of creating my blog. There would be months were I posted nothing at all, or started writing something and just completely scrap the idea.

I am personally  writing this post as my way of setting new intentions I have for next couple of months.

1. Write! Just write even if  I don't think people will like or connect with the writing.
2. Plan out content.(Have an actual planner.)
3.Keep a believable schedule of posting.
4.Learn more about actually blogging and new techniques I can apply.
5. Most of all have fun doing it.

If you a blogger or someone who has some tips on keeping your intentions. Please let me know down below I love any tips or feedback.

Ice Cream in San Francisco.

Thursday, October 26, 2017

Finally the day has come, after days and hours waiting in a virtual line to score tickets (Shout-out to my sister for waiting In line). We finally got to enjoy all the magic which the Museum of Ice Cream has to offer.

We started off our morning early by hitting the farmers market at the ferry building. Due to someone (Itzelt!!!) needing to do homework we got a chance of  speaking with vendors and got some amazing cheesecake to eat while looking out onto the bay bridge

After that we hit up Raw Sugar to have breakfast. It was good food at a great price, but I don’t know if I go back. Luckily, we did not have to wait in line and that was a big plus in my book. I feel like most brunch spots In San Francisco always have a line. I enjoyed the ‘Green Tea French Toast’ and some ice coffee in a fancy cup!

Then finally after our nice breakfast/lunch the moment we waited for came. Sadly we had to wait an hour before our time slot to enter the museum. Luckily the museum is located near Union Square and  the Westfield mall. Once it was time we go to experience we headed over to the museum.  The Museum of Ice Cream was an amazing experience there were some great photo opportunities and something creative at every turn, oh and who could forget the treats (ice cream, cotton candy and pop rocks!!!).  At times it seemed a little all over the place, but this could be due to the fact that the San Francisco branch just opened up. It seems like the people who work there are still getting used to how to best deal with the crowd. But overall totally worth going to, if you can get tickets.
If you're one of the lucky ones who already have tickets, I recommend not bring too much with you, since they don’t have a coat room and it is a little cramped at times during certain exhibits. And basically it a hassle of having to place your jacket and bag certain spot in order to achieve the right image. Also I highly recommend having lots patients because everyone want to take pictures and it can get a bit frustrating just know to enjoy the experience. Overall, it was a fun experience and got me some amazing images.

City By The Bay

Sunday, August 20, 2017

With the summer coming to the end we decide to make one last trip.

We had a  small budget and were short time so we (Horchatita sisters) decided to do a small trip to San Francisco (30 minute drive, Bart, or Ferry, the choice is yours) and be tourists for the day.  We got to visit new spots we haven't ever been to  and of course had good food. That's the thing about living in the Bay Area you have many options of where to go and luckily San Francisco  has something at every turn. I hope you enjoy the pictures of our short trip I also included a small video I filmed on my go pro.
