Let's Talk Coffee

Tuesday, March 2, 2021

If you follow me on social media you know I have a love for coffee and creating my own drinks at home. Who wants to spend over five bucks when you can make a delicious drink from the comforts of home just the way you like it for a fraction of the cost.

Today I want to highlight one of my favorite products to make all my delicious coffee recipes with, Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce. What I love the best about this sauce is that it can add so much flavor to any coffee drink no matter if you have it cold, blended or nice and warm. With March being National Sauce Month I thought what a better way than to celebrate with Torani Puremade Sauce and my go to Coffee recipe.

Caramel Iced Latte spiked with caramel whip cream! This is my go to for a post long workday or on weekends when I want a nice creamy coffee with a little something extra. The best part is you can also make this coffee without the spike and enjoy it every day, but let’s be honest the best thing about this drink is the Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce. This caramel sauce blends in so well in many different ways to give my coffee drink the best flavor. What I love the most is  the fact that it has no artificial flavors. So I love to add it to my coffee in different ways like caramel whip cream that helps make my drink more special.

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Torani, but all opinions are my own

To make this drink you will need the following ingredients.

-Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce ( Torani Puremade Sauce can be bought online at torani.com)

- 1 shot Espresso

- ½ cup milk of choice

- 1 ounce coffee liqueur (if you like to make the spike version)

- 1 cup heavy whipping cream

-Ice

When it comes to an Iced latte there is something you need to keep in mind, an Iced latte is different from iced coffee . A latte is an espresso shot with steamed milk. Making it a little stronger in taste but if that ain't what you like you are welcomed to substitute the espresso shot with iced coffee and follow the remaining directions down below.

Directions :

First off I like to start off by making the espresso and adding the steamed milk. And letting it cool before pouring it to a different cup. At this time I take the Kahula and pour it into the latte with around one tablespoon of the Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce and mix it into the latte.  While I let this cool, I move on to making the caramel whipped cream from scratch.

Now I know making the whip cream from scratch sounds daunting but honestly I promise it is super easy. When I make the caramel whipped cream I like to make enough for the days to come, but if you would like to just make enough for your drink you can do that but trust me it’s so good you’re going to wish you made more than just one drink. Now there's two ways you can mix the heavy whipping cream - by hand, which is a guaranteed arm work out, or by using an electric mixer. I will be taking the electric mixer route but that's just me. In the mixing bowl, I add the heavy whipping cream. I whip until stiff peaks are just about to form. At this point I would add in Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce. Add in as much as you desire, I love caramel so I tend to add a good amount, roughly around 3 tablespoons. Once added let it whip until it blends together. And that's it, I told you it was super easy.

Once I have the whipped cream done the next step will be the caramel wall, aka - adding caramel around the cup. I would add some Torani Puremade Caramel Sauce to the bottom and around the sides of my glass followed by ice, then at this time I would pour in the cooled spiked latte I had made earlier. For the finishing step I top the latte off with the freshly made caramel whipped cream and sit back and enjoy!

The course you need to learn how to succeed is LadyBossBlogger Course + Giveaway!

Thursday, July 30, 2020

Hi Everyone! I’m super excited to bring you this blog post today! First off a big Thank you to LadyBossBlogger + Elaine Rau for sponsoring this post.
As many of you know I have been blogging for over three years and have two instagram accounts with a good number of loyal followers in each. In the last couple of years I have been able to work with companies in exchange for products but I felt like it was time to step up my game and actually start making some money off the work I was creating for brands. Many times we as influencers and bloggers get stuck in just creating mood. We don't think hey I could make some money for all the hard work I put in we’re just excited to get a free product.
So when LadyBossBlogger reached out to try out there How To Make Money As An Instagram Influencer guide. I could not help but jump on the shot to try out the course. Sure you can do all the research on your own but to get the information from someone with experience already doing what you want to do that's a no brainer.
From the start the course was already giving me so much information and what was even better it was so simple and easy to use and understand. She goes over so much in the course like how to even start a successful instagram account from the start.
The course covers how to stand out as an influencer and what is needed from the start followed by how to brand yourself successfully, followed how to create content your followers actually want. Followed by how to actually pitch to brands so they say yes to working with you. Info on how brands work with influencers and how to find the right fit for you. My favorite part is how to price your work and followed by something I didn't know I needed
*40% off with my code Jackieperez
legal information. That is the basics of the courses and it has extra bonus information you will love.
For me the biggest takeaway from the course was pitching to brands. It taught me how to price myself, posting etiquette and how to track my earnings. Something I never truly knew how to do or felt comfortable sharing with brands that reachout to me.
Let's talk about pricing. The course is on the more pricier side but has so much information and definitely is an investment for yourself. But if this is not what you are looking for LadyBossBlogger has many other great guides that could be beneficial to you she also has great resources like:

Confession

Friday, July 14, 2017
I'm addicted to cooking books and nutrition book.

Since the young age of twelve, I developed a love for books.(Shout out to Gossip Girl). I would make my parents, more like begged for them to take me to the book store just to get a book for the weekend. It got to the point where my parents had to hide the book from me. Especially if it was for a long trip because I could read that book in a couple of hours before the trip.

I'm not going to lie I love Young Adult book. I hope many could relate to that, on top of that I enjoy thrillers from time to time, but lately, I developed A new love for cookbooks and nutrition books.

First off, if you know me you know that I can barely boil water without something going wrong, but lately I been putting myself out there when it comes to cooking. As a gift for Christmas, I received first the Freddie Prince Jr Book, Back to the kitchen and it started a new inspiration for me to get into the kitchen.

I admit my love for the actor and after a girls night watching some of his films like, I know what you did last summer and She's all that. We found out he had a cookbook and it was a shocker, but once I read the book I understood this man had a passion for food.

The recipes are amazing and simple that even a somewhat okay cook could make and enjoy.

His green chilly salsa is so good. I might secretly now use it all the time and tell people it is a family recipe (oops!!).

My current favorite book right now is Body Love by Kelly LeVeque. This book just blow my mind. I read it in literally in two days, and read it again the next day to make sure I understood everything correctly.

Kelly LeVeque shows you a new way to not diet, but love your body by filling it with nutritious food.  In a way that will help you lose weight if that's your goal.  I really got into this book and the ideology behind it after Kelly post on her blog about the challenge she was hosting.

From the first day of the challenge I could notice the difference and I think that's what made me believe in the book even more. I'm on day 17 of the challenge and now I enjoy waking up early to get some type of workout before work, and a fab 4 smoothie after. It makes me stay full until lunch and sometimes after. I recommend this book if you're trying to fall back in love with your body.

The third cooking book I got was The Gilmore girls book: Eat like a Gilmore. This book is filled with fun amazing recipes. That makes you feel like your part of the Stars Hollow community. Try one of these recipes out when ever you feel like you need a little Gilmore Girls in your life.

If you guys have any recommendations for book I should check out, please let me know down below. I'm always up for finding a new book of any kind.

Here are the links to the book !
