Lets talk
Let me tell you its true! But just because you can write doesn't mean doing this whole blogging thing is easy. I'm going to be honest, I just have been so busy and out ideas that I been neglecting my blog. A blog that took me forever to actually make, so I have been a little upset on not keeping up with content. I have read on other blogs that you just need to write to get into the blogging scene or grove. I'm guilty of not writing, pleading guilty here.
So I deiced to set up a little challenge with myself to get me writing. I Jacqueline Perez will update at least once every other week.( If anyone wants to keep my accountable let me know.)
I also want to add more content to the blog not just make it about my life and trips, but I want to talk more about the Bay Area and the surrounding cities. The food and culture they offer growing up in Bay make it possible. The plan is to Include more fitness, my up's and downs with trying to become more healthier. My favorite recipes (I'm a true amateur cook like those kids on tv could sweep the floor with me.) Also maybe a little fashion I don't know much but I know what works for me. Most importantly I want to write about Coffee I <3 that stuff, and spend a pretty penny on buying it so why not write about it.
Thank you for sticking around and joining my on my writing challenge.
They say anyone can write....

25!
Wednesday, April 12, 2017
When I was a kid twenty seemed so far away, but not that I turned I'll I can think is where did the time go. In a couple 5 years, I will be thirty and that seems like it just around the corner. Yes, I haven't reached the goals (Or still figure out where my life is headed.) I wanted in life but I ask around and that seems to be the norm. ( I truly hope!) Turning twenty-five was a true experience spent celebrating with the people I love in the city I was born and raised. Growing up in the bay area is like nothing out there.
So celebrating my Birthday in the Bay was a week long experience from drinking Blue Bottle coffee at the ferry Building, eating grilled cheese before heading to a Giants baseball game and looking out towards the rest of the bay area.Followed By spending time In downtown San Leandro and hitting up Sons of Liberty Alehouse, for good company and amazing food. I just had to do nine-minute drive and not struggle with parking, that's a major win in my books. To end the celebration I spent the weekend with my family who has been there to support and raise me in these last twenty-five years of life.

Our first girls trip! As you grow older you gain an independence to have actually trip with friends (or as I like to call them the family you pick. Keep in mind I am related to two of the people on this trip. With my sister graduating and my birthday come up we decided it was the perfect time for our first girl trip we been planning since last year.
We diced to hit the Happiest place on earth Disneyland, and Disney California for the weekend. We luck out and got two nice warm days ( it's been rain and cold in the bay.) so we were able to spend the day enjoying mint julep in the warm sun, followed by other amazing Disneyland food. (Jumbo turkey legs anyone ?)
Since we were already in Southern California we decided to branch out from the park and hit up Horchaeria for horchata inspired food like horchata coffee, (Yes I got an extra large!) we also got horchata ice cream in a concha.
Our last day in Southern California we decided to head out of Anaheim for more food! We went to DoughBoys the brunch was amazing. Since we're close we hit the grove for some shopping, and since we found out when we were in Paris in December that Ladurée opened a store in Los Angeles we got macaron and some pressed juice to start the detox after a weekend of unhealthy-ish eating .
Now time to get back on track and star my next goal before my birthday in April get back into my healthy balance eating.
